My Fave TV Series Of All Time | Blogtober 2017

Some of you might know, that I’m a student. And as every student, I take TV series very serious – I probably spent more time watching series than actually studying. Since uni started just a few weeks ago, I thought it’d be the best time to share my 5 fave TV series with you. Despite that, isn’t autumn the perfect season to get cosy with a cup of tea, some chocolate and a good TV program?

Dowton Abbey
If you haven’t watched Downton Abbey, WHY??? And if you’ve watched it and didn’t love it – what kind of human are you? This TV series is my FAVOURITE of all time and the best program ever for unwinding. Besides that, it’s set at the beginning of the 20th century, which is literally my fave age in history – I love watching historical series in general. What is more, it’s set in the UK, which is my fave country in the entire world, and the most protagonists are aristocratic and therefore pretty wealthy. Overall, it’s like a grown-up version of Gossip Girl – just a little bit smarter and swisher and less drama. Oh, did I mention that there’s a Christmas episode at the end of every season? As you see, there’s literally nothing which isn’t absolutely me in this series, so to sum up, it’s just the best program and so so lovely and British, so grab yourself a cup of tea and some shortbread and enjoy the episodes! LOVE!

Lie To Me
To be fair, this is actually a program which I haven’t thought about for a long time! About three weeks ago, I saw that Lie To Me is now included at Amazon Prime Video, and since I was on the hunt for a new series, I start watching it again – and absolutely fell in love again! So, if you haven’t heard about it, it’s mainly about analysing facial expressions and find out, if the person says the truth or not – hence the name. Even though I hated psychology in school, I love behaviour analysis, especially when it’s in combination with crime! Despite that, it’s also pretty handy for your everyday life, since you’re getting better in assessing people.

Criminal Minds
As I said, I love crime and psychology – a series, which combines these two things perfectly is Criminal Minds. The focus of this program are serial murders and their psychological background. However, this isn’t probably the best series to relax (especially if you’re alone in your flat during night) but it’s really addictive. Despite that, I’ve been kind of a fangirl for Spencer Reid – love him!

The Man In The High Castle
I discovered The Man In The High Castle about a year ago – and I loved it so much, that I only needed one weekend to finish the first season. This Amazon Prime Original series is set in the sixties in the USA. However, there’s one big difference between the 60’s we know and the series, because it’s actually a dystopia – the scenario: Japan and Nazi Germany won World War Second. That’s why, this program is a kinda unhappy but the plot is amazing. Despite that, I love how it makes you thinking about history and how lucky we actually are. And it also is a little bit spooky, so perfect for Halloween!

Originally, I wanted to make a list of 5, however I can’t think about a fifth series, which I love and always go back watching without being annoyed about it the same time (e.g. Pretty Little Liars or Gossip Girl). So, I stop here, because I want to keep it real and there you have my fave TV series ever! I’m genuinely interested in the things you like, so leave a comment with your fave series – I’m always amenable to recommendations! Despite that, thank you for reading and if you want to read more from and about me, follow me on Instagram @the_fandf_club or on Bloglovin’ and you’ll know when a new post is up. Oh, and I’m doing Blogtober, so there are a lot of posts from this month, I’d be lovely from you if you check them out!

Love you so much!
